The beauty of fashion lies in its endless possibilities. When sustainability is factored in, our style  becomes even more multidimensional and meaningful. But can fashion and sustainability coexist?  In WAVEIT, the answer is a resounding "Why not?" We, WAVEIT, with a strong commitment to  environment conservation and stylish design, we aim to marry fashion with sustainability.

On June 13, 2024, we hosted the "Wave-Making" product launch event at a restaurant in the  Cultural Centre, Tsim Sha Tsui. The event was a celebration of sustainable oceans and  showcased our new products.

For Ocean-Loving Fashion Enthusiasts

Every year, nearly 8 million tons of plastic waste flow into the oceans, acting as toxins and  threatening biodiversity. WAVEIT aims to drive sustainable development, one bag at a time, just  like our tagline "Sustainability In. Waste Out." Part of the backpack is made from recycled plastic  bottles, preventing them from ending up in landfills and polluting the oceans.

Our first product line is the "Sea Sparkle Series." These bags, with their minimalist yet bold  designs, capture the enchanting allure of the ocean. The reflective patterns on the straps evoke  the mesmerizing ocean phenomenon of sea sparkle. If you love both the ocean and fashion, this  series is a must-have. From Trash to Design

We incorporate fabric crafted from recycled plastic bottles. Discarded bottles are collected,  cleaned, shredded into plastic flakes, and reformed into fabric by the brand's suppliers before  being handed over to WAVEIT for design and production. Thus, each bag carries a unique story.

This visual representation highlights the transformation of waste plastic into sustainable fashion products.

We refer to our customers as "Wave Makers." By choosing us, customers make a statement for  the ocean, preventing more plastic waste from entering the seas and achieving "sustainability." To  highlight each customer's contribution, every bag features a special label indicating the number of  recycled bottles used to create it.

The Sea Sparkle Series includes backpacks and crossbody bags with laptop and phone  compartments, making them practical yet stylish choices for commuters. The key point is, fashion  and sustainability coexist in these bag styles – no compromises needed.

Kicking Off with a Splash

Our debut event at Tsim Sha Tsui was attended by many fashion enthusiasts in town. In addition  to showcasing their latest bags, we partnered with the non-governmental organization - A Plastic  Ocean to highlight the impact of plastic pollution on marine ecosystems at the event. Interactive art  installations and workshops were held to help attendees understand our mission and philosophy.

Your Voices for the Ocean Will Travel Worldwide with WAVEIT

During the “Voices for the Ocean “workshop, attendees wrote down their most dreaded visions of  plastic pollution in oceans and attached them, along with recycled bottles, to an exhibit board. This  art installation, inspired by the concept of a message in a bottle, symbolizes the discarding of  plastic pollution nightmares and the return of a zero-plastic ocean.

These "voices" will travel the world with our sales team, displayed at sales points and exhibitions  globally. Through Wave Makers, the message of ocean conservation will be spread far and wide.
